The shot on the left is "Tassels & Fronds," shot with a toy camera and the one on the right is "Qanik," shot with my Nikon DSLR. Qanik is the first color digital image I had accepted for a show, and only the second one I have ever submitted. It is funny to me that my first color digital photograph looks practically black and white. That's what happens when shooting stark trees during a snow storm, I guess.
Now I've got to do some fundraising to be able to travel to Sacremento for the awards opening.
